While May wasn’t as good as April, it was still a decent month considering how little time I spent focusing on my business. Most of my time this month, and in the last couple months, has been focused on another business venture that I’ve been focused on that is NOT included in this report as it’s not associated with websites at all. Because of this, I’ve all but neglected my sites, yet they continue to bring in a considerable amount of revenue which is very exciting.
That said, I’m starting to get the website “itch” again. While I’m still very leery with AI SERP results around the corner, I do think that sites like OHP and a few of the sites I still own could do well even with AI results.
The biggest positive this month: Website 10, which is a site we’re just starting to work on again, increased earnings by 60%.
The biggest negative this month: Earnings are overall down by a significant amount, but this is expected considering I sold two income generating sites.
Here are the numbers behind my business for the month:
- Revenue: $14,430 (This includes revenue from all sources)
- Expenses : $12,864 (This includes healthcare costs and my own monthly paycheck of $6,900 as an expense)
- Net Income: $1,566

Personal Life Update
May was pretty disruptive to my work goals on a personal level because we’re still going through a home remodel, which has been all kinds of headaches. It’s over now, but throughout the month there were many days that got burned because of construction noise, etc.
Remember – we still have a 14 month old so going through this process was pretty tough. But, thankfully it’s done now and we can continue to live life normally.
That’s all for the personal update.

1) I strive to be transparent about what it takes to make money online.
2) These reports help me keep track of my own progress.
3) These reports hold me accountable.
Keep in mind, I don’t create these to gloat about my earnings. I create them to help you understand the true “earning curve” of online business.
On a side note, I don’t disclose my actual website URL’s on my reports because I’ve had bad experiences with copycats in the past.

Project Updates
Udemy Update
I don’t focus on Udemy any longer, but I have made money from them every month since I stopped.
OHP Website
In May, I mostly ignored the OHP site, but I have started producing content again on a small scale.
While the site didn’t do well for the month, with a traffic drop of about 24% and an earnings drop of 15%, there have been some positive trends as of late that are showing a rebound and considering the lack of focus, I think things are going to turn positive as I turn attention back to the site.
PLAN: As of now, I’m working to get 2 posts published to the site per week. Thus far, I’ve been able to meet those metrics and it looks as if I have a good workflow to continue to make it possible. While I’d love to spend heavily on the OHP site and publish a ton of content all at one time, doing so previously didn’t make me comfortable so I’m going to build things slowly for now. This may change in the future, but we’ll see.

Website 6
Traffic dropped slightly this month, and earnings increased by 84%. I’m not too thrilled though it wasn’t’ a large amount of money.
PLAN: For now, we’re going to let this site sit and see what happens organically with Google.
Website 8
This site was flat MoM for traffic, but earnings increased by 47%. This site made about $258 for the month and if this continue, the site may get my attention again. But not yet…
PLAN: No future plans for the site, I just want to let it sit and see what happens.

Website 10
This site hit a new record of $400 for the month, which is really exciting to me! As of now this site is 100% focused affiliate deals and while the site isn’t getting a ton of conversions yet, I have endless affiliate programs to join for this site that will pay really well if I can rank.
PLAN: I’m continuing to publish 2 articles per week on this site and have looked hard at the content schedule in the future to start to shape more affiliate income opportunities. I’m very excited about this site at the moment, but don’t want to go too heavily into investment yet until I see positive momentum.
Website 11
This site is slowly climbing with traffic and looks to be a good opportunity in the future so long as AI SERPs don’t crush the niche.
PLAN: As of now, I’ll let this site sit. But I definitely think there is some potential here.
Website 12
This site also continues to climb in traffic and while earnings aren’t there yet, this site is primed to utilize display ads to earn. I’ve decided I’m going to be testing some AI content here to see how well the project does.
I haven’t dove too deeply into AI just yet, but this will allow me to test the capabilities and see if it’s possible to build something of quality that earns Google traffic. If this one does, it could be a game-changer in my content process.
The key to the whole process to me is to make sure that the content isn’t generic and the way it’s published looks both well-researched and helpful.
OneHourProfessor YouTube Channel
The OneHourProfessor YouTube channel continues to plug along, and will sit for the near-term.
PLAN: Things still on hold here. I’m still not entirely sure on plans, though I do know I’d like to get back on to YouTube at some point.
