July is behind us and onwards/upwards into the rest of the year.
The month was solid for the business as a whole. Revenue increased about 10%, expenses increased about 6% as I have been testing AI content on a few sites.
Overall, I’m happy with the month and getting very intrigued with AI content and testing it’s potential.
The biggest positive this month: Consulting income jumped a bit from one client and I really didn’t spend a whole lot of time making that happen. I like the type of consulting roles I’m in at the moment as the clients aren’t really asking many questions and just letting me do my thing which is working incredibly well thus far. I won’t share all the metrics for privacy sake, but they’re seeing 100%+ growth MoM in both impressions and clicks for their site and it’s only about 3 months old.
The biggest negative this month: July is the last month of a nice affiliate agreement that’s paid me well each month for a few years now. In total it’s around $2000/mo as the program is shutting down, but that’s the life of an affiliate marketer.
Here are the numbers behind my business for the month:
- Revenue: $18,624 (This includes revenue from all sources)
- Expenses : $5,900 (This only includes business expenses. I no longer include my own pay, healthcare expenses, or 401k investments here as it’s all a distribution of revenue that no one else reports on either)
- Net Income: $12,720

Personal Life Update
July was a fun month overall. We celebrated the 4th with some friends and have finally established some roots here in Vegas with other friends of ours. It took us quite some time to network with others as we both work from home and arrived at the tail end of Covid, but it’s starting to really feel like home here.
That’s all for the personal update.

2) These reports help me keep track of my own progress.
3) These reports hold me accountable.
Keep in mind, I don’t create these to gloat about my earnings. I create them to help you understand the true “earning curve” of online business.
On a side note, I don’t disclose my actual website URL’s on my reports because I’ve had bad experiences with copycats in the past.

Project Updates
Udemy Update
I don’t focus on Udemy any longer, but I have made money from them every month since I stopped.
OHP Website
OHP site traffic dropped a bit further (mostly for traffic-aggregator posts that don’t have a big impact on revenue) and earnings fell slightly as well. I’ve been mostly neglectful of this site over the past few months but now things are full speed ahead as I’ve assigned some staff to help.
Interestingly, and I remember this from before, the more content we update the more we see traffic increase across multiple posts, including those we DIDN’T update. I don’t know why this is, but it really seems to me that Google rewards sites that update their content holistically, not just on the posts they update.
PLAN: As of now I have 2 staff members helping with this site. One is primarily focused on revising content, the other is primarily focused on creating new content. In addition to that, I’m personally working hard to continually inter-link content as I absolutely lost sight of that in the past and largely ignored it. Early signs look good as I’m seeing traffic increases/ranking increases.

Website 6
On paper this site looks like it had a really bad month, but it’s just not true. Traffic is logged at -50%, but that’s not true. What really happened is for some reason I didn’t properly migrate this site to GA4. That’s done now. Also, the site had an earnings increase of 507%! Granted, it went from $14 to $85, but I’ll take it.
Weirdly, I’m starting to see Google show this site some love as well. I’m not about to do anything yet with it, but I do know of a way we could utilize AI on this site to make an obscene amount of content – fast. Not going to act on it yet, but there’s some interesting ideas for sure and if I can get AI to work otherwise I may explore using it here.
PLAN: For now, we’re going to let this site sit and see what happens organically with Google.
Website 8
This site saw a traffic increase of 13% MoM, but earnings dropped 13% MoM. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but similar to website 6 I’m seeing a nice increase in traffic here as well.
PLAN: No future plans for the site, I just want to let it sit and see what happens.

Website 10
This site has been…interesting.
It’s quickly become my newest darling. I really like the topic, love the direction it’s going, and see some huge affiliate possibilities.
However, I still haven’t really nailed the AI content portion of it.
As mentioned last month, I published 50 AI-generated pieces of content on the site. The result? 3 pageviews in a month. Which…..is terrible. Knowing this, I went back to the AI drawing board and refined it even further, and now I’m excited to publish AI-assisted content here.
As of now, I have a VA that helps generate the content, then a VA who fact-checks it, reviews/add links, adds images, etc. I’m cautiously optimistic here. I’ve run much of the content through AI detection platforms and have seen scores of around 50%, which is pretty solid.
I know many people don’t think AI detection platforms work, but I’ve seen a decent amount of AI-only sites go up big and crash HARD. I don’t want to be one of those sites and regardless of what the naysayers think, I’m confident that Google understands pure AI content and it’s only a matter of time for you to crash and burn.
PLAN: With my VA in place and the quality editor I have, the goal is to create 2 pieces of long-form content each day. Usually around 3000-4000 words, all written with AI and some incredibly detailed prompts. While there are no guarantees, I really think this may work and if it does……I’m going to be lethal in what I can do across many of my sites.
My content costs decreased by about 90-95% with AI and that’s always been the bottleneck of my business. If that is no longer a hurdle, I’m going to grow some of these sites at an astronomical rate.
Website 11
MoM traffic increased 106% on this site to 1,036. This is a pure AI site and I think it might be a winner based on what I’m seeing. Now I think we will scale up content production.

Website 12
MoM traffic increased 17% to 1,477. Similar to website 11, this is another pure AI site and it’s also looking like a winner.

OneHourProfessor YouTube Channel
The OneHourProfessor YouTube channel continues to sit. Subscribers/earnings/views are all falling, and I understand why and just have to shrug. Not the best us of my time, as much as I did love doing it.
PLAN: Things still on hold here. Not deleting it or anything, just don’t want to invest into it.
