Another month gone and man oh man, this year has been crazy. October was, frankly, a pretty great month. OneHourProfessor generated the most money it ever has since it’s existence. Many of my sites and YouTube channels are growing, and I was able to generate over $25k for the month in revenue, which is a good chunk of change!
This month my total income after expenses was $18,426 which comes out to $594 per day.

Personal Life Update
I really don’t have a ton of personal updates. My wife and I spent much of the month hanging out at home and on a few different occasions hung out with close friends. Beyond that, we also spent time painting our basement as we recently had drywall put in and we’re trying to finish it.
I still hate painting as much as I always did and would love to just hire painters to do it all, but we’re so far along at this point we may as well finish it up.
My wife and I have also gotten into the “let’s have a kid” mode that I’ve tried to avoid my entire life, lol. But we both do wants kids and I’m hoping we have good news on that front somewhat soon, but nothing yet.

I’m doing this for a number of reasons:
1) I strive to be transparent about what it takes to make money online.
2) These reports help me keep track of my own progress.
3) These reports hold me accountable.
Keep in mind, I don’t create these to gloat about my earnings. I create them to help you understand the true “earning curve” of online business.
On a side note, I don’t disclose my actual website URL’s on my reports because I’ve had bad experiences with copycats in the past.

Project Updates
- Traffic decreased 6% and earnings increased 20%. Kind of weird as those numbers usually move positively or negatively together, but I think the increase is due to Q4 display ad spending, which is always more than the rest of the year.
- EPM Increased by about 28% which is HUGE. A positive trend and a reflection of what Ezoic was able to provide.
- PLAN: As of now, We’re going to continue to adjust old content and publish some new content as well. This site is still going along nicely on autopilot and I hope the traffic losses stop soon. In the last two months I’ve lost about 14% of total traffic and don’t really have a ton of recourse to fix that.

Udemy Update
I don’t focus on Udemy any longer. They sell my courses for too cheap.
OHP Website Update
- Added 5 blog articles
- Best earnings month ever due to some affiliate income I’m generating now.
- Most pageviews ever, slightly beating last month
- Another large jump in referring domains due to guest posting
- EPM jumped to $96 which is outstanding. I hope this will maintain this month.
- PLAN: Continue guest posting and growing the brand. I’m starting to bring on others to help me with the guest posting process, but it’s iterative and I’m working on outsourcing one area at a time to stay high-quality.

- Website has no new content published and no revisions underway.
- Another good income month. Not passive, but still significant considering how little work I do for this site.
- PLAN: Continue to let the website sit and collect money. My EPM for display ads has now increased due to Ezoic optimizations, so I expect a better November.

- EPM is highest it’s been in over a year for display ads. Earnings are the second best they’ve ever been for this site as well.

Lessons Learned
Every month, I’m going to reflect back and tell you a few different lessons that I’ve learned. My hope is that the lessons each month will be a cautionary tale for you that makes it so that you don’t make the dumb mistakes that I do along the way.
- Outsourcing is the only way to freedom in online business
- YouTube lives can be very fun and (I think) increase your overall channel views
- Sometimes sites can increase traffic for no apparent reason other than consistency and hard work.
Did I Meet my Goals for October?
10+ Guest Posts: SUCCESS – I wrote 14 total. Overall, I’m at 50 guest posts since I started around July 1st.
Write 4 more articles on OHP: SUCCESS – Wrote these and have one more to publish.
Revise content that is on the fringe of ranking well: FAIL. I have revised 2/4. One of them had a HUGE increase in rank, the other is sitting stagnant. For these revisions, I’m exclusively using SurferSEO.
What Are my Goals for November?
10+ Guest Posts: I’d like to stick to my goal of another 10 guest posts this month if not more.
Outsource Guest Post Prospecting Fully: By the end of the month, I want to have training in place to outsource all of the guest post prospecting. I.E. I want to make it so that I can get inbound guest posting opportunities without struggling all the time to do so all by myself.
Revise additional content: This is a repeat, but I want to revise the 2 posts that are still in need this month to see how they do.
