Another month down and August was much better than July.
Earnings are bouncing back and although I don't think I'll earn as much as I once did consistently, the earnings are respectable and will sustain me as I grow this website along with the accompanying YouTube Channel.
This month's income numbers are a bit skewed because it included an additional $15,300.00 that I made from selling "Website 4". But, nonetheless, it's definitely income so it's worth including.
This month my total income after expenses was $31,104.60 which comes out to $1,003.37 per day.

My income this month is far less than I usually make, but it’s important to remember that I had a HUGE increase in investment for the OHP website. I’m doing a heck of a lot to grow the brand and thus far, it seems to be working.
Personal Life Update
- Frankly, it was a pretty boring month. I've been working quite a bit, my wife and I have hung out with friends, and we've done a little but of housework. That's really about it.

I’m doing this for a number of reasons:
1) I strive to be transparent about what it takes to make money online.
2) These reports help me keep track of my own progress.
3) These reports hold me accountable.

Website 1 Update
- Traffic increase by roughly 3.5%
- The EPM for this website in all revenue areas increased to $70.64, which is great news. This was mostly fueled by a partner increase in revenue.
- Ezoic has saved me. Earning for display ads aren't what they once were, but I think I'll be able to keep my business profitable to grow this website, which is all I ask.
- PLAN: Continue revising content on the website and making the content the best there is. As of now, I'm doing this to the tune of 2 blog posts a week.

- Due to Adsense invalid click issue, I moved entire website to Ezoic as well. Spoke with my customer support rep and he explained some pages weren’t monetized because of “risky” content filters picked up by their system. Revised posts, these should be fixed now.
- Best earning month yet by a large margin.
- Backlinks continue to arrive, with no effort on my part. Got a DR 93 the other day, which was amazing.

Lessons Learned

- Ezoic is a very viable method to make more money with display ads
- Deep links from guest posts work for rankings
- Email courses can be a good way to connect with visitors

Hey there, I came here from a Reddit recommendation. are you concerned about a second wave of COVID-19 in the fall and the possible impact it may have again on your business? I am just getting started and am concerned about investing cash into websites with so much up in the air

Awesome, I didn’t know I was even mentioned on Reddit, good to hear. I’m really not concerned as I don’t personally think a second wave will hit that’ll cause a huge impact. In my opinion, the worst is over. But I’m just working hard to diversify overall and if it does hit, I’ll be ready. If I were you, I wouldn’t be nervous. Websites will still be here after Covid is gone, anything you invest now will eventually have a positive ROI so long as you make the right moves.
